At Embody we believe yoga is for everyone. The majority of our yoga classes are open to all levels, though if you’ve never tried yoga before you may want to consider one of our regularly-scheduled beginners courses. We also offer one-on-one sessions at Embody, giving new students the opportunity for a more personalised introduction and more advanced students a chance for specialised tuition. Frequent weekend workshops and special events complement our studio activities ensuring there’s always something to look forward to.

Mother & Baby
The focus of this gentle yet effective post-natal yoga class is to re-tone your body after pregnancy and help reduce tension and strain to your wrists, arms, shoulders, chest and lower back. The class is designed to include your baby in a playful way to stimulate development and health, and includes gentle massage, interactive play and a sing-along. No yoga experience necessary.
Pregnancy yoga sessions are a wonderful opportunity to reconnect both with yourself and your baby. They are also a great way to become birth-fit, to pamper yourself a little, and to support sleep and general relaxation. Rocket Yoga is a dynamic and challenging vinyasa flow sequence, combining poses and transitions from the Ashtanga primary and intermediate series. It’s a playful, energetic and invigorating practice incorporating arm balances, backbends, deep twists and inversions, but with modifications available throughout making the class accessible to all but complete beginners.
Stretch & Strength
This class is all about giving your body what it needs to function at its best through a combination of stretching and strength exercises designed to improve flexibility, muscle tone, core stability, posture and overall wellbeing. The perfect way to end your day!.
Yin & Restorative
In these challenging and stressful times it’s vital that we create space for ourselves to heal and unwind, and one of the most effective ways of doing this is through the practice of yin and restorative yoga. Both are particularly beneficial in reducing stress and enhancing wellbeing thanks to the passive, longer-held poses which, in the case of yin yoga help to release our connective tissues, and in the case of restorative yoga promote a deep sense of relaxation. The perfect antidote to a stressful week!
This dynamic, flowing class moves you steadily through breath-synchronised vinyasa sequences designed to create heat, gradually preparing your body for the most challenging before gently being led to savasana, the final relaxation pose. You will leave feeling rejuvenated, energised and with a deep sense of balance and peace within. Suitable for intermediate/advanced practitioners.
