Yoga has been Mary’s constant companion for over 35 years. It has enabled her to navigate through many of life’s hurdles including, stress, menstruation, pregnancy, birth, sickness, menopause and grief.
Wanting to share the benefits of yoga with others Mary completed her yoga teacher training in 2013, followed by a training in Gentle Yoga. She organically moved into working one to one with women, of all ages, facing various challenges in their lives (physically and emotionally) offering them a selection of yoga tools to help steer their way through. This led her to specialist trainings in Yoga Therapy and Yoga for Menopause.
Mary loves sharing the huge selection of yoga tools she has learnt over the years, including breathwork, asana, meditation, relaxation, and yoga nidra, along with her life experiences, to help people find more ease in life, to stay healthy and age gracefully. It gives her such great pleasure to observe how everyone can benefit physically, emotionally and mentally from all these wonderful practices.
