Maddy-Rose teaches nurturing, heart-centred flow yoga in a way that is both fun and accessible for complete beginners and experienced yogis. As well as yoga, her classes involve free movement, breathwork, meditation, poetry and stillness to help people enter into the “heart space”; the space of feeling, intuition, creativity and joy.
Her teaching style is about supporting you to move away from a performance mentality and towards a place of sincerity from which you can really connect to the present and explore how movement feels in your body. Maddy offers tools and variations so that you can tailor the practice to meet what you need in that moment. You’ll be encouraged to let go of the need to “improve” or “correct” your Asana (poses), with the understanding that only you have authority over your body. You can expect classes that build up a bit of heat, but then guide you into deep, nourishing rest.
