Jo was introduced to yoga as a compliment to her theatre studies and performance training and soon realised how beneficial it was for mental wellbeing. After a brief theatrical career and some years in the charity sector, she decided to train as a teacher.
Jo is an experienced Vinyasa Flow and Pre and Postnatal Yoga teacher. With a focus on synchronising the breath to the movement, she encourages the student to connect with their body mindfully whilst cultivating lightness, self-enquiry and ease. Her regular classes focus on stability, strength, alignment and the breath. Her pre and postnatal classes support and nurture women on their journey through motherhood, building physical and mental strength, joint stability, body awareness, breathing techniques and a connection with their babies.
