Allie’s yoga journey started in 2013 when she picked up yoga as a method of cross-training while preparing for her first half marathon. As a former competitive swimmer, swim coach and textbook “type A” personality, Allie has always been drawn to high intensity and competitive sports. She soon realised that a regular yoga practice helped to improve her endurance and fitness, and spent several years practicing Rocket and Dharma Yoga. She believes that there is a type of yoga for everyone, and that the practice should be accessible and playful, as well as spiritual.

Her goal as a teacher is to empower her students to find meditation and mindfulness through movement. She completed her 200 hour teacher training in hatha and vinyasa with Heather Elton, and has trained in Rocket Yoga with Leon London and Mandala and Rocket with The Yoga People.
