Our physiotherapy services are provided by Technique Health & Fitness.

Treatment

The basic aim of physiotherapy is to alleviate pain and restore normal movement, helping the body to return to its natural state. Our physiotherapists are trained to assess and treat the underlying causes of joint, muscle and nerve disorders. They also teach patients how to manage their condition, and advise on injury and pain prevention.

Your physiotherapy treatment will often involve a combination of therapy techniques including massage, mobilisation, manipulation, acupuncture and remedial exercise therapy.

Insurance Cover

If you are covered by BUPA or AXA PPP you must contact them prior to commencing treatment in order to obtain an authorisation code. Please provide this code at the initial consultation. Without this you will be required to pay for the treatment in full on the day.

It is not possible to invoice any other health insurance providers directly, so treatments must be paid for on the day. You will then need to apply for reimbursement from your provider using the receipt issued. Please notify your health insurer prior to starting treatment to ensure that you are covered.
