What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a traditional Indian system of wellbeing that takes a whole-person view of daily life. It considers patterns such as appetite, digestion, sleep, energy, stress and seasonal change, then offers practical guidance shaped around the individual rather than a generic plan.
Often described as the sister science of yoga, Ayurveda uses ideas including the three doshas — Vata, Pitta and Kapha — to explore a person’s tendencies and what may help them feel more settled and supported.
Ayurvedic consultations are complementary wellbeing services. They do not diagnose or treat medical conditions and are not a substitute for advice or care from your GP or another qualified healthcare professional.
Embody Wellness is just minutes from Vauxhall Station and within easy reach of Nine Elms, Battersea, Pimlico, Stockwell and Kennington.
